The Packer's editor Tom Karst and Produce Retailer's editor Ashley Nickle discuss industry events happening this week, from the National Watermelon Association's annual convention to the NGA Show to Southern Exposure.
Tom will be covering the watermelon association's event in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., Ashley will be covering the National Grocers Association Show in San Diego, Calif., and both of them — plus The Packer's Northeast editor Amy Sowder — will be covering the Southeast Produce Council's Southern Exposure event in Tampa, Fla.
In this episode of Packer Insight, Tom and Ashley also discuss the New Product Review video series that Ashley and The Packer's designer and copy editor Amelia Freidline filmed this week (featuring new products that will be on display at Southern Exposure) and talk about the presentation Ashley will be giving at the NGA Show about online grocery and produce.
