California fruit association reschedules annual meeting
The California Fresh Fruit Association, Fresno, has postponed its 84th annual meeting to November because of the increase in coronavirus COVID-19 cases.
The meeting was originally scheduled for mid-March; it is now Nov. 4-6 in Laguna Beach, Calif., at the Montage Laguna Beach resort, where the original meeting was scheduled. All room reservations from the original date will be transferred, according to a news release.
“On behalf of the leadership of the California Fresh Fruit Association, we want to thank our membership for their continued support of the 84th Annual Meeting, association president Ian LeMay said in the release. “We look forward to seeing you in Laguna Beach in November.”
