The top most-searched items on Produce Market Guide held steady the week of March 23 compared with the previous week: Oranges, organic pears, lettuce, avocados and broccoli held onto their rankings of No. 1 through No. 5.

Tomatoes grabbed the No. 6 spot last week, in a sharp rise from No. 20 the previous week, while cucumbers slipped a place to No. 7. Strawberries reappeared at No. 8, while potatoes fell one spot to No. 9, and lemons rose to No. 10 from No. 18 the previous week.

Bananas continued to see interest, with the overall category at No. 12, burro bananas at No. 13, and manzano bananas at No. 16. Pummelos also appeared at No. 14, and herbs rounded out the top 15. Dragon fruit and cauliflower were No. 17 and No. 18, and garlic and okra completed the top 20.
