Pacific Organic Produce has hired Delilah Romo as a commodity sales specialist.

Romo’s educational background is in international business, and was in the accounting department at Patagonia Orchards, Rio Rico, Ariz. Within six months, she had moved to the sales department, according to a news release.

A year later, she was sales manager at Patagonia Orchards, managing the fruit from harvest to sales and loading. In that process, Romo analyzed repack profitability, improved warehouse functions and increased efficiency.

“My passion is to study and understand market trends, create long lasting relationships and unending opportunities for growers and the communities they serve,” Romo said in the release.

“She has a great background and is perfect for this role,” Mike Rubidoux, sales manager at Pacific Organic Produce, said in the release.
