Oranges hang out at No. 1, but okra, artichokes pick up steam on PMG

Oranges continued their hold on the top spot on PMG the week of April 6, but the rest of the top 5 shuffled slightly. Cucumbers rose from No. 4 the previous week to No. 2, pushing lettuce to No. 3, and organic pears slipped to No. 4. Strawberries, meanwhile, rose from No. 10 the past week to claim the No. 5 spot.

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of April 6.

Okra rocketed from No. 16 up to No. 6, and turnips jumped from No. 11 to No. 7, while lemons slipped a couple of spots to No. 8. Mangoes rejoined the list at No. 9, and bananas rounded out the top 10, falling two slots from the previous week.

Avocados came in at No. 11, falling from No. 5 the previous week, while limes came back at No. 12, and cabbage maintained its No. 13 spot. The navel orange variety came in at No. 14, and mandarins and tangerines rose a couple of spots to No. 15.

Artichokes also rejoined the top 20 last week, at No. 16, while blueberries fell to No. 17 from No. 9 the previous week. Mushrooms and garlic reappeared at No. 18 and No. 19, and kale rounded out the top 20.
