The United Fresh Produce Association and Datassential are featuring foodservice trends during a web seminar to accompany the association’s quarterly foodservice report.

The seminar, Fresh Insights for Foodservice Spring 2020 Trends, is at 2 p.m. Eastern May 14. Registration is online.

Sarah Grady, the U.S. strategic supply chain manager at McDonald’s and chairwoman of the United Fresh Retail-Foodservice Board, will moderate the seminar. Mike Kostyo, trendologist at Datassential, will provide analysis, according to a United Fresh release. There will be a question-and-answer period as well.

The United Fresh quarterly foodservice report looks at how foodservice operators are adapting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Highlighted commodities include baby lettuces, mangoes, acorn squash, grapes, produce in tacos and produce-driven side dishes, according to the release.

Questions about the seminar can be directed to Andrew Marshall, United Fresh director of foodservice programs and foundation partnerships, at amarshall@unitedfresh.org or 202-303-3407.
