Mangoes see major interest on PMG

Haitian mangoes maintained their lead on The Packer's PMG the week of May 11, and the overall mango category climbed from No. 4 to No. 2. Watermelon climbed from No. 6 the week of May 4 to No. 3, peaches vaulted from No. 17 to No. 4, and cucumbers climbed four spots to round out the top 5.

The PMG platform connects produce buyers and sellers. Below, find the top 20 searched commodities on PMG during the week of May 11.

Organic mangoes climbed to No. 6 from No. 20 the previous week, and cherries moved up one space to No. 7. Oranges fell to No. 8, while mandarins and tangerines rose to No. 9 from No. 16. Lettuce fell five spots from the previous week to complete the top 10.

Strawberries fell to No. 11 from No. 7 the previous week, and avocados fell a place to No. 12. Organic pears fell to No. 13, and chili peppers rejoined the list at No. 14. Yellow-flesh watermelon fell from No. 2 the week of May 4 to No. 15.

Cantaloupe fell to No. 16 from No. 12 the previous week, while radishes moved up a couple of spots to No. 17, and cauliflower held steady at No. 18. Lemons fell from No. 13 the previous week to No. 19, and mushrooms rounded out the top 20.
