Keystone Fruit Marketing boosts technology
Greencastle, Pa.-based Keystone Fruit Marketing, which operates an onion sales office in Walla Walla, Wash., continues to invest in technology, said Dan Borer, general manager in Walla Walla.
He cited regular changes in art on labels, as an example.
“We’re making substantial investment in tech to make us more efficient in production; that’s the big drive now,” he said.
“That meets investment in packing and grading equipment. Wherever we can become more efficient, it’s just the wave of the future.”
