Braga Fresh releases four new Josie’s Organics salads

Soledad, Calif.-based Braga Fresh Family Farms will debut this month four new salad kits under the Josie’s Organics brand.

The new items are Caesar, Garden Salad, Classic Coleslaw and Tropical Crunch, according to a news release.

The nine-ounce Caesar kit includes hearts of romaine, butter croutons, Parmesan cheese, Romano Caesar dressing and herb seasoning, while the nine-ounce Classic Coleslaw kit contains red and green cabbage, carrots and dressing. The Garden Salad kit, in a 10-ounce bag, includes iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots and red cabbage.

The Tropical Crunch kit, which comes in a 6.25-ounce package, has baby spinach, pumpkin seeds, chopped dates rolled in oat flour, dried mango, sliced almonds and avocado lime dressing.

“Just in time for summer season, three of these salads are favorite flavors for organic shoppers, while the Tropical Crunch Kit is a fresh take on a more gourmet summer offering,” Nicholas DaCosta, president of Braga Fresh, said in the release. “By using the best ingredients with the most flavor, we elevate everyday salads into a satisfying meal option.”

The salads are available for customers nationwide.
