Digital ad firm wins award for Avocados From Mexico campaign
Digital advertising agency 270B accepted a silver Reggie Award for an Avocados From Mexico campaign the 2019 Super Bowl.
The digital world in the Avocados From Mexico’s “Big Game” campaign reversed owner and dog roles. In the campaign, humans would do anything for avocados, leading users to interact with the Avocados From Mexico brand through artificial intelligence. Technology analyzed the user’s personality from tweets and paired them with real adoptable dogs.
The Reggie Awards are given by the Association of National Advertisers to recognize agencies with the best brand activation campaigns, according to a news release. The digital campaign for Avocados From Mexico, created by 270B and Dallas agency Lerma, won the national silver trophy for Innovative Use of Marketing Technology, according to the release.
“We’re extremely excited and honored to have won this Reggie Award. Thanks to Avocados From Mexico for continuing to allow us to be innovative and creative with our campaigns,” Kristian Bottini, 270B CEO, said in the release.
