C&E Farms releases Shorely Fresh green bean packaging

C&E Farms, Cheriton, Va., has a new Shorely Fresh package for unsnipped green beans.

The farm’s main location is in Virginia’s Eastern Shore region.

The stand-up bag holds about 1.5 pounds of beans, which is enough for two average family meals, according to the company.

The bag comes partially closed.

The bag is meant to replace loose bulk green beans as a way to reduce spillage, increase shelf rotation, avoid cross-contamination from consumer handling and provide convenience.
