Potato and onion grower-shipper RPE, Bancroft, Wis., is adopting How2Recycle package labeling for Tasteful Selections products.

How2Recycle is a system which labels products with recycling instructions, according to a news release.

“It involves a coalition of forward-thinking brands who want their packaging to be recycled and are empowering consumers through concise packaging labels,” according to the release.

RPE will use How2Recycle labels on Tasteful Selections packaging.

“The new partnership with How2Recycle aligns with RPE’s and Tasteful Selections’ sustainable initiatives to help reduce and eliminate waste,” Tim Huffcutt, vice president of sales and marketing operations, said in the release.

RPE hopes that as consumers have access to the information, they will make informed recycling decisions.
