National Mango Board offers packaging seminar

The National Mango Board is presenting a web seminar on mango packaging in Spanish and Portuguese.

The seminar discusses the benefits of the 5-down mango box, the result of a mango board and industry initiative for a larger box.

The seminar is 3 p.m. Eastern July 23. Registration is online for the event in Spanish and Portuguese. Manuel Michel, executive director of the National Mango Board, is the featured speaker.

The National Mango Board’s Packaging Task Force worked with growers, exporters, importers and retailers on the project to establish a standard for the industry.
