The United Fresh Produce Association is offering a program through Cornell University’s External Education called Navigating Emerging Issues in the Fresh Produce Industry.

The six-part program will be delivered through the association’s United Fresh Live! 365 platform Oct. 26-30.

Cornell instructors will lead the sessions, according to a news release, covering topics that include:

  • Consumer behavior;
  • Leading digital transformation;
  • Managing remote employee teams; and
  • Disruptive technology, including Blockchain.

“We’re thankful for the ongoing collaboration with Cornell University, allowing us to continue to offer strong programming, specifically for the produce industry,” Amanda Griffin, United Fresh’s vice president of education and program management, said in the release. “As we continue to work from home we’re also learning from home, and certificate programs like this allow fresh produce professionals to excel in today’s environment.”

The cost for the series is $600 for United Fresh members and $800 for non-members. The sessions will be offered live and on-demand later; attendees receive a certificate of completion from Cornell, according to the release.

For more information, contact Griffin at agriffin@unitedfresh.org or 202-303-3412.
