Progressive Produce adds organic table grape program

Progressive Produce, Los Angeles, has started harvesting its first organic table grapes, the latest item added to the Nature’s Bounty Organic brand.

The company will be marketing red and green table grapes including Magenta, Krissy, Scarlet Royal, Allison and Timpson, Autumn King and Great Green, according to a news release. Green grapes will be available through October, with red grapes shipping through November.

The company has a video featuring the varieties.

Grapes are available in 2-pound bags and clamshells, which loading sites in Cutler and Delano, Calif., according to the release. Customers can also pick up products at the company’s La Mirada, Calif., facility, where other commodities can be added and consolidated into an order, according to the company.
