Giant Food recalls squash noodle medley

Giant Food has recalled some of its private label-branded squash noodle medley after a supplier reported a sample had tested positive for listeria.

The Giant Food squash noodle medley has a Universal Product Code of 68826718585; the company notified customers and reported the product is not available for sale. Customers may have frozen the product. The squash noodles were sold in Giant Food stores between Aug. 8-Aug. 19; the “best enjoyed by” date was Aug. 19.

Other UPCs relating to the product are safe to consume.

According to the company’s website, the supplier had been notified that a “regulatory sample” had tested positive for listeria.
The supplier is not identified.
