Julie Krivanek, whose Krivanek Consulting, Denver, specializes in strategic planning, management consulting and mergers and acquisitions, is launching a new service in response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on business.

The new strategic thinking and planning service is designed to help companies focus on how to achieve long-term growth in a short-term world “riddled with change and challenge,” according to a news release.

Krivanek, who celebrates 30 years in the industry this year, has a goal of helping businesses get “unstuck from ‘2020 thinking’ to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime market dynamics and opportunity accelerated by the pandemic,” according to the release.

“We stand at the threshold of a golden age for fresh produce – imagine the possibilities when our ambition and imagination meet the health-conscious consumer, technology that enables better business  and the emergence of entirely new channels for our products,” Krivanek said in the release.

She founded Krivanek Consulting in 1990. She was the honoree and featured speaker at the Women in Produce reception at the United Fresh Produce Association conference in 2016.
