FiveStar Gourmet Foods, Ontario, Calif., is offering its new family-size Fig & Walnut Salad exclusively at Costco stores.

The salad includes spring mix, feta cheese, apple chunks, roasted walnuts, dried mission figs, grape tomatoes and FiveStar Gourmet’s signature Fig Balsamic Vinaigrette.

The five-serving (3.5 ounces/serving) Simply Fresh Salad comes in a recyclable bowl and debuts during a new fig and apple season.

A smaller version of the salad will be available to other retailers following a 60-day exclusive period at Costco. The suggested retail price is $9.99 for the 18-ounce salad.

“The FiveStar culinary team works tirelessly to make incredible recipes and knows exactly when to highlight the best of what mother nature has to offer,” Tal Shoshan, CEO, said in the release. “Being able to offer new choices for consumers with premium quality ingredients and curated dressings at a very attractive price are keys to our success.”

The salad contains no artificial ingredients. Each serving contains 200 calories, with four grams of protein and two grams of fiber, according to the release.
