Salinas, Calif.-based Moxxy Marketing’s work on a new website for Valley Farm Management has been recognized by Graphic Design USA with a 2020 American Web Design Award.

The website, at valleyfarmmanagement.com, tells the story of Salinas-based Valley Farm Management, a third-generation farming family, a full-service vineyard management company that produces premium winegrapes, according to a news release. The company oversees more than 3,000 acres, both on the company’s land and through contracts with other growers.

“When Valley Farm Management entrusted the development of their website to Moxxy, they were looking for an eye-catching visual aesthetic, but also a sales tool that would give their business a competitive edge,” Molly Briseño, vice president of Moxxy Marketing, said in the release.

“One of the site’s useful features is an interactive map of the American Viticultural Areas, where the company has operations. Visitors can click on an area, and then on a ranch link, to get specific information on the grapes grown there, including details like varietal, rootstock, acreage, and number of vines.”

In addition to developing the website, Moxxy also redesigned and modernized Valley Farm Management’s logo.

“We’re excited that the Moxxy team has been recognized for their great work,” Jason Smith, president and CEO of Valley Farm Management, said in the release. “Collaboration in creating the site is the basis of its success. The team at Moxxy did an exceptional job of listening and understanding our needs and then translating that into a finished product that tells our story with beautiful pictures, the right voice, and a functional and easy-to-navigate site.”
