Guelph, Ontario-based GoodLeaf Farms is adding baby greens to its product line.

GoodLeaf’s baby kale and baby arugula are grown at the same indoor vertical farm as the company’s four microgreens and are now available at Loblaws, Zehrs and Fortinos stores in Ontario, according to a news release.

Baby greens are harvested about 20 days after the seed is planted, about half the time it would take for the plant to mature.

This growing cycle and the controlled environment in the vertical farm enable GoodLeaf to grow hundreds of crops a year.

GoodLeaf Farms also grows four microgreens: Spicy Mustard Medley, Pea Shoots, Micro Asian Blend and Micro Arugula.
