Fox Packaging seeks to keep pace with demand
Strong demand since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic continues for McAllen, Texas-based Fox Packaging, according to Aaron Fox, executive vice president for the company.
“We have a tremendous amount of capacity, but the demand has just been outrageous since the COVID outbreak,” he said, noting that foodservice demand has transferred to the retail business and retail packaging demand has exploded. “Our biggest challenge during this right now is just keeping up with demand and making sure that they’re we’re taking care of our customers.”
Bags are popular for Texas citrus, and Fox said the company continues to push recyclable materials in its products. “We’re always trying to find friendlier, greener (materials) to work with,” he said.
