The Washington Apple Commission is bringing back Washington Apple Week Nov. 28-Dec. 6, with activities planned across the globe to build excitement across the globe with the new crop.

This is the second annual Washington Apple Week, and it will span 19 countries with the From Our Trees to Your Table campaign, according to a news release. The campaign focuses on educating consumers about available varieties, how they’re grown and health benefits of the fruit.

“This is an exciting opportunity to connect with customers and unify apple lovers across different oceans, borders and continents,” Rebecca Lyons, the commission’s international marketing director, said in the release. “The ability to engage with consumers with an amplified digital approach helps bridge the gap during a challenging time, and it opens new doors to provide content that will add value to our customer’s daily lives.”

The event features in-store displays and an interactive experience online, with social media, contests, influencer partnerships, videos, cooking demos and more, on the Washington Apple Commission’s social media platforms. Consumers can follow #WashingtonAppleWeek throughout the event.

The state’s 1,260 apple growers produce eight core varieties: gala, red delicious, fuji, Honeycrisp, granny smith, cripps pink, golden delicious and Cosmic Crisp, according to the release.
