The Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference has released more details on the full virtual schedule, including more than 85 hours of sessions on 15 specialty crops.

Although the Jan. 5-7 event won’t be in person, it will offer learning and networking opportunities for fruit and vegetable growers nationwide, according to a news release.

Education sessions include question-and-answer sessions and opportunities to earn Continuing Education Units and Certified Agriculture Advisor licenses and certificates.

Morning sessions include these topics: caneberries, peaches, roadside markets, vegetables and citrus. Afternoon sessions cover blueberries, food safety, organics, precision ag, watermelons, business operations, strawberries, Vidalia onions and hemp.

The conference will have more than 100 exhibitors with product demonstrations and live connections each day. Networking events will be each day also, to take a closer look at issues that will affect the specialty crop industry.

The conference offers allied industry partners 15% off an all-access registration.

All education content and trade show exhibits will be available for on-demand to registered attendees after the conference until April 30.

The conference is organized by the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and South Carolina Peach Council.
