Honeybear Growers recognized for community contributions
Honeybear Growers, Brewster, Wash., recently received the Brewster Chamber of Commerce’s Best Large Business of the Year Award.
Steve Stewart, assistant general manager, accepted the award at a Nov. 28 ceremony.
Honeybear’s packing facility is in Brewster, and most of the apples are grown in north central Washington.
“We take great pride in our business and recognize we are only as good as the people on our team,” Stewart said in an e-mail. “Their consistent can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile really exemplifies the Honeybear ‘Exceed the Expectation’ culture.
“We are fortunate to have great people who really care about our customers and our growers!”
