Naturipe has hired Alvaro Alezard as vice president of finance.

Alezard has more than 20 years of experience as a global finance executive and will help streamline processes to improve productivity along the supply chain, according to a news release.

He previously had financial executive roles in the food production agency, including chief financial officer at Hope’s Cookies and vice president at Baldwin Richardson Foods. Before that, Alezard was in the pharmaceutical industry for 17 years in various roles.

“With his extensive experience in domestic and international finance, we believe he will bring a fresh perspective that will help flourish our financial operations and enable Naturipe to exceed its goals,” Naturipe’s Aribel Aguirre-Beck said in the release.

Azelard said he’s fascinated by the work of Naturipe.

“They produce high-quality fruits that provide nutrition to people all over the U.S. and globally,” he said in the release. “On top of that, Naturipe follows a family-oriented concept throughout its overall operations.”
