Strawberries catch eyes on PMG

Pummelos and oranges maintained the top two spots on PMG the first week of January, but strawberries rejoined the list at No. 3. Apples jumped to No. 4 from No. 16 the previous week, and navel oranges moved up two spots to complete the top 5.

Mushrooms climbed to No. 6 from No. 9 the previous week, and bananas rejoined the list at No. 7. Cucumbers moved up to No. 8 from No. 11, and specialty manzano bananas fell three places to No. 9. Lettuce fell from No. 3 the week before to No. 10.

Citrus rules PMG's top 20

Mandarins slipped from No. 8 to No. 11, while cabbage fell from No. 4 to No. 12. Specialty Seville oranges dropped to No. 13 from No. 5 the previous week, while bell peppers rose from No. 20 to No. 14. Chili peppers rose four spots from the week before to complete the top 15.

Potatoes fell from No. 13 to No. 16, and avocados slipped from No. 12 to No. 17. Pomegranates fell four places, to No. 18, and broccoli rejoined the list at No. 19. Limes also made a comeback, completing the top 20.
