Certificate Training: Win Consumers’ Hearts and Minds

Welcome to the three-hour certificate training "Win Consumers’ Hearts and Minds," featuring exclusive consumer preference research on sustainable products. What do consumers really want from you? The Packer’s research effort on sustainability, executed by Aimpoint Research and supported by Apeel Sciences and Emerald Packaging, was designed to explore consumers’, buyers and growers attitudes and perceptions of sustainability. Complete this three-hour training to earn a certificate of completion.

In the next three hours, you will review the eBook that features exclusive research on consumers’ opinions about sustainability that reveals data from the 2020 Packer Sustainable Insights study.

Next, you’ll watch an online session featuring Scott Caine, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Aimpoint Research; Amy Duda Kinder, vice president of food safety, worker safety and sustainability for A. Duda & Sons Inc.; Louis DeMaso, sustainability and operations analyst for Lipman Family Farms; and Jessica Vieira, director of sustainability for Apeel.

Growers believe that sustainability is important, but how does that conviction translate to action? This session will consider what sustainability practices are being pursued and how those line up with retail and consumer perspectives.

Finally, the you'll listen to the audio session unpacking the complex topic of sustainable packaging. Packaging is a flash point for consumers when they are looking for sustainable products.
