Tomra Food has launched Packhouse Academy, described by the company as a comprehensive online learning resource for fresh produce packhouse professionals.

The resource offers a wide range of on-demand videos, live interactive webinars, and user-driven training modules, according to a news release.

“Packhouse Academy’s mission is to ensure that every packhouse team member is equipped with the right blend of skills and experience,” Roydon Adlam, global customer training manager for Tomra Fresh Food said in the release. “This is an opportunity for individuals to develop their careers and get their skills recognized by professional certificates, and for packhouses to operate at their maximum potential.”

Adlam said in the release that Tomra expects the courses on operators’ skills and new software releases to be the most popular, since those courses relate to benefits gained from investments in machinery.

Packhouse Academy can be found at www.packhouse-academy.com.
