Yuma, Ariz.-based Bard Valley Date Growers and Houston-based Brighter Bites partnered this month on an H-E-B promotion that highlighted the Natural Delights and Brighter Bites brands and included a product donation and financial donation to Brighter Bites.

The promotion was featured on the social media accounts of both brands, according to Jennifer Boone, director of sourcing for Brighter Bites. The organization provided Houston families receiving the donated dates with digital and print educational materials on different ways to enjoy dates, including how to use them in various recipes.

“This partnership generated excitement among Brighter Bites families,” Boone said. “With every partnership, we gain a stronger presence among the produce industry and are able to see families excited to try even more specialty produce items. By combining our expertise in nutrition education and our ability to make all types of produce fun, we would love to replicate this with other brands and continue to present Brighter Bites families with all types of produce items.”
