The Packer Sets Global Organic Produce Expo at TPC Sawgrass in August

The Packer’s Global Organic Produce Expo (GOPEX) has been reinvented for 2021, offering organic fresh produce buyers and suppliers a chance to convene for business and pleasure at one of the most iconic courses in professional golf. This in-person networking opportunity is scheduled Aug. 5-6, 2021, at the renowned TPC Sawgrass Golf Course and Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

North Florida provides an ideal setting for GOPEX GOLF’s primarily outdoor, Covid-conscious agenda, which kicks off with pre-qualified and coordinated BizMatch meetings and a festive welcome reception on Thursday, Aug. 5. The second day features a golf tournament and exhibits at the famed TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course, home of PGA’s The Players Championship, followed by a “19th Hole” themed celebration.

“This follow-up to the online session we hosted in January was developed to double the exposure for the organics segment and its players in a year that continues to be greatly impacted by the pandemic,” said Matt Morgan, executive vice president of produce for Farm Journal. “We believe this hybrid golf-and-expo format will be a standout for all organics professionals who enjoy networking in a casual, fun atmosphere, whether they are experienced golfers or not.”

The event, designed to deliver a low buyer-to-exhibitor ratio with ongoing opportunities for productive networking throughout, will bring together 100 of the top organics buyers in the industry and an elite collection of fresh produce suppliers and allied companies. Exclusive sponsorship opportunities are now available and are customizable to ensure the best experience for exhibitors and attendees.
