The Packer seeking input on summer citrus marketing survey

Citrus suppliers are invited to give their perspective on the summer citrus outlook for The Packer’s May 31 Summer Citrus Marketing Section.

The survey is available online here.

Responses to the survey are invited by May 17 and will be used to help The Packer build coverage for the section.

Questions on the survey include:

  • Where are you currently sourcing citrus? How does your supply compare with a year ago?
  • What are the highlights of your citrus marketing plan over the next three months?
  • What is the biggest change in the citrus market compared with a year ago?
  • What are the biggest retail packaging trends that you see for citrus?
  • How do you recommend that retailers promote your citrus items?
  • How many cartons of citrus do you expect to market this season?
  • What percent of your citrus supply is organic? Will your organic supply increase in the next five years?
  • How have increased online grocery citrus sales changed the way you market?
  • What is the top sustainability initiative at your organization? 
  • What effect has tight trucks/ocean carrier capacity had on citrus marketing this season?
