Annual CanadaGAP meeting set

The 2017 Annual General Meeting for the CanadaGAP Food Safety Program is set for Dec. 6 in Ottawa, Ontario.

Members in good standing with CanAgPlus, the owner and operator of the program, may submit resolutions for consideration at the meeting, according to a news release. The deadline to submit resolutions is Oct. 2.

Information regarding hotel accommodations, registration, election of directors, agenda, resolutions and other topics will be provided online at a later date. Members will receive registration packages in October.

Phone and web participation in the meeting will be available in lieu of in-person attendance.

Business at the meeting will include presentation of 2016-2017 financial statements, election of four director positions on the CanAgPlus board, and review of resolutions, according to the release.
