Seven Seas, a division of the Tom Lange Family of Companies, is proud to welcome third-generation grower, Bill Hammerstrom, as Manager of Sales for their California citrus office.

“We are so fortunate to have Bill on our team. His extensive knowledge of the produce industry is going to be a great asset to our citrus program and will help push us to the next level” said Brent Scattini, VP of West Coast.

Bill, a California native and graduate of Cal Polytechnic State University, joins Seven Seas with over 25 years of experience in the produce industry, many of those in citrus. Bill’s career has encompassed many facets in the produce industry from running Superior Sales West’s operations in Kingsburg, Ca to Key Account Manager at AC Foods. Bill also has his own farming operation- producing cling peaches, fresh sugar plums and wine grapes.

“Working at both ends of the supply chain gives Bill a unique perspective for the demands and challenges faced by our customers and growers, as well as an insight to the opportunities that exist for Seven Seas”, said Brent Scattini. “I am really looking forward to putting to use my experience and passion for this industry, with a group of people who share the same vision and drive. I am excited at the prospect of growing Seven Seas, not only in terms of supply but also in sales.” said Hammerstrom.
