What to expect at GOPEX Golf

The Packer’s highly anticipated Global Organic Produce Expo (GOPEX) golf and networking event is right around the corner.  The main event will be held on famed TPC Sawgrass golf course – home of PGA’s The Players Championship! Though the event is hosted at a golf course, scratch and non-golfers alike will enjoy networking in a casual, fun atmosphere.

Day one of the event will kick off with Biz Match meetings. This relaxed, 20-minute speed meeting event is designed to offer you a business marketplace to meet leading service providers within the industry. With advanced notice, the goal and result of the program is to bring buyers and sellers together to expedite and create efficiency for the process of doing business.

Followed by an opening reception at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort and Spa pool deck. The networking opportunities are never ending at this unique expo.

Day two will start around 7:30 am with a delicious breakfast and more Biz Match meetings. (Network, network, network!)

The golf tournament will kick off around 9 am with a shotgun start. Exhibitors will line the course and golfers will make their way through the iconic holes to visit with exhibitors along the way.

The closing 19th Hole Celebration will be held at The American Gators Club. “Florida's unique indigenous wildlife is on full display at this relaxed restaurant, which overlooks the lagoon and 13th hole at The Stadium Course at TPC® Sawgrass. Take a seat outdoors and enjoy the delightful Ponte Vedra weather,” according to Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa website.
