The U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking more than 500,000 cartons of table grapes to be used in the National School Lunch Program and other Federal Food and Nutrition Assistance Programs.

According to an online document, offers to sell table grapes to the U.S. are due Aug. 16. Acceptances will be announced by midnight, Aug. 31, according to the USDA.

Grape deliveries are to be made between Nov. 1 through Dec. 29 this year, the USDA said.

The USDA said the specialist for the solicitation is Nick Wiber (Nick.Wiber@usda.gov). The contracting officer for this solicitation is LaShawne Brown (LaShawne.Brown@usda.gov). The USDA said suppliers should contact the specialist first with questions regarding the requirements of this solicitation.
