Miami-based Ecoripe Tropicals showcased its conventional and organic coconuts and ginger during GOPEX Golf.

The company offers Genuine Selection Coconuts as well as Genuine Drink and Eat Coconuts, which come in 6-count boxes and are available year-round, say general manager Isabel Hurtado and marketing coordinator Katalina Moreno.

Hurtado says that all around organic sales are in the positive and the company is in the process of gaining organic certification for its drinking coconut product.

The company experienced some supply disruptions during the pandemic because of lockdowns in Thailand, where some of its coconuts come from.

"We haven't been able to bring any, so we were completely stopped on the Genuine Organic Coconut for maybe a month or two," Hurtado says.

The company also offers other fruits, vegetables and tropical roots.
