USDA goes virtual with National Organic Standards Board fall 2021 meeting
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has changed the National Organic Standards Board fall 2021 meeting from an in-person to an online event.
The agency said the move to virtual will allow the board to move forward with deliberations as scheduled in an open and public setting, without the need for travel.
The public comment period and public comment registration are now open for the NOSB Fall 2021 Meeting, according to the USDA.
Interested parties are encouraged to review the online meeting materials and provide feed-back on topics included on the agenda.
To be considered during the fall 2021 meeting, written comments and requests for oral com-ment speaking slots must be received by 11:59 p.m. Easter on Thursday, Sept. 30
