The Packer’s Global Organic Produce Expo returns to South Florida

( )

The Packer announces the 2022 Global Organic Produce Expo (GOPEX) is set for Jan. 31 – Feb. 2, 2022, in sunny South Florida. Strategically located in the most internationally accessible region of the U.S., the event attracts a global audience by delivering in-depth, organics-focused education and lively networking opportunities.

New for 2022 and inspired by the host venue, The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., GOPEX will kick off with a live concert and party set among the gorgeous grounds of the newly renovated property. The education lineup is tailored for fresh produce professionals throughout the organics supply chain and packed with thought-provoking and actionable content from start to finish. Sessions will include expert panels discussing packaging and growing innovations, interactive breakouts and demos, an organics-focused merchandising competition and more. Additionally, the popular BizMatch meeting scheduler will be offered throughout the event to pair organics suppliers with retail and wholesale buyers.

“We’re extremely excited to bring together the fresh organics industry for the first, full-scale in-person GOPEX event since 2020,” said Matt Morgan, executive vice president of produce for Farm Journal. “There is a lot of enthusiasm around this fast-growing market segment, and GOPEX is designed to inform, connect and further motivate its players to improve their businesses and the category as a whole.”

Registration is now open and show organizers will announce more speaker and session details in coming weeks. Booth space and sponsorships are available. To learn more about the program and register for the event, go to www.globalorganicexpo.com.
