Jump with Jill headed to Texas
Jump with Jill will visit Texas elementary schools and the state fair this fall to kick off the Texas Farm Fresh Jump with Jill Live Tour.
The Texas Farm Fresh Jump with Jill Live Tour brings attention to Texas fruits and vegetables, and teaches children about healthy eating, according to a news release.
The rock & roll nutrition assemblies will head to 20 schools across Texas and its state fair Oct. 13.
“Our Jump with Jill show helps Texas children realize that eating nutrious foods and exercising every day makes them part of a very cool — and healthy — crowd,” Sid Miller, Texas Agriculture Commissioner, said in the release.
Jump with Jill, created by registered dietitian Jill Jayne, does performances throughout the U.S.
Media coverage of the events is welcomed, as well as cast interviews, the release said, but assemblies are closed to the general public.
“We are so excited to bring Farm Fresh messages directly to schools by singing and dancing our way across Texas,” Jayne said in the release.
