USDA looking for suppliers of fresh oranges for feeding programs
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is inviting citrus suppliers to compete to sell fresh oranges to government feeding programs.
The invitation said that bid acceptances will be announced by the USDA Nov. 30, with deliveries projected between Jan. 1 and April 30 next year.
The USDA contract specialist handling this purchase will be Nicholas Wiber at Nick.Wiber@usda.gov, while the contact officer handling this purchase will be Kyla Stoufer at Kyla.Stoufer@usda.gov.
The bid is inviting offers to sell about 35,000 cartons of fresh oranges, according to the USDA document.
