The California Leafy Greens Marketing Agreement is has published its annual report.

The document, available online, highlights the progress that has been made by the leafy greens farming community, according to a news release.

The LGMA Advisory Board and Committees have been working hard with Western Growers to make improvements and updates to the LGMA Food Safety Standards, according to the release.

Each LGMA member company has in turn had to integrate these updates into their operations and processes, the release said.

“Collectively this group delivers over 30 billion servings of leafy greens to consumers every year,” he said. “That is an accomplishment of which we should be proud, as is the progress that the industry and supply chain has made and continues to make in delivering safe greens.”
