Fresh apple inventories show slight decline compared with a year ago
U.S. fresh apples in storage Dec. 1 showed a slight decline compared with a year, according to the U.S. Apple Association.
Fresh apple holdings Dec. 1 totaled 100.3 million bushels, 2.4% less than the inventories reported for last December, according to the U.S. Apple report. Holdings were 11.2% less than the December five-year average.
