Pro*Act welcomes Kim Snyder as senior manager of food safety

Monterey, CA (January 5, 2022) – North America’s leading distributor of fresh produce PRO*ACT welcomes Kim Snyder as its new Senior Manager of Food Safety.

Kim brings more than two decades of experience in food safety and quality management, working with commodities as varied as spices, mushrooms, cheese, milk, pasta, snacks, and juices. 

A graduate of Penn State with degrees in Nutrition Science and Food Science, she has honed her skills while working for industry leaders such as Kraft, McCormick, Borden, and Monterey Mushrooms. She is experienced in preventive controls, supplier compliance, third-party audits, sanitary equipment design, pathogen mitigation, recall management and regulatory compliance.
