RoadOne IntermodaLogistics, a single source intermodal, distribution, and logistics services company, announces today further growth of its national footprint with the acquisition of EHS Trucking and EHS Truck & Trailer. Going forward the companies will be known as EHS LogisticSolutions.

EHS is a full-service trucking company, with 235 drivers, that’s based in the Detroit suburb of Brownstown Township, Michigan and has a number of major automotive manufacturer clients, such as Ford, GM and Stellantis. EHS provides dedicated truckload services for the Midwest region, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, and will provide RoadOne with greater penetration of the U.S. automotive manufacturing sector. Additionally, EHS has over 1000 trailers in their system to assist with distribution and manufacturing support, which will help to expand RoadOne’s dedicated solutions capabilities.

EHS Truck & Trailer, also located in Brownstown Twp., Michigan and services all makes and models of medium and heavy-duty diesel engine vehicles, as well as provides ongoing and proactive maintenance and repair of EHS’s equipment and owner-operator trucks.

Ed Worley, the President & Founder of EHS Trucking Enterprises, LLC., will serve as an advisor to EHS LogisticSolutions, and Mike Lemere will take on the role of Senior Vice President running the day-to-day operations of the EHS LogisticSolutions.

“We are very excited to become part of the RoadOne organization and know that we will now have a greater array of logistics, drayage and distribution resources to support our customers and drivers. We have always been committed to a fully customer-centric approach and joining RoadOne further reinforces this,” said Ed Worley, President & Founder of EHS Trucking Enterprises, LLC.

RoadOne’s family of companies are supported by strong fuel, truck and insurance purchasing capabilities, national warehousing and depot services, as well as the advanced, end-to-end TMS TrueVision technology platform.

“We’re working to help alleviate the challenges shippers face today, including truck capacity, distribution and logistics solutions. We’re thrilled to welcome the EHS team to our RoadOne family and know they will greatly contribute to advancing the performance of our customers’ supply chains. Ed and Mike’s strong work ethic and commitment to safety are valued at RoadOne and by the industry,” said Ken Kellaway, CEO of RoadOne IntermodaLogistics.
