FirstFruits Marketing, the exclusive marketer of the Opal apples, will offer youth-led organizations around the country an opportunity to apply for the Youth Make a Difference grant.

The grant offers a chance for young leaders to accelerate their nonprofit growth, FirstFruits said in a news release.

“Everyone at FirstFruits is ecstatic to be offering this grant program for another year,” Emily Autrey, program coordinator for FirstFruits, said in the release. “Opal takes pride in giving back to the communities we serve across the country each year.”

Applications for the Youth Make a Difference grant are now live, and submissions are due by 8 p.m. EST or 5 p.m. PST Friday, Feb. 11. Youth nonprofit leaders will need to complete a brief application that includes a story about their mission to be eligible for the scholarship.
