Driven by retail pricing data collected on a weekly basis from thousands of online sources, the Produce Price Index is currently comprised of pricing data from all store locations at Fred Meyer, Fry’s, The Giant Co., Giant Food Stores, H-E-B, Kroger, Ralphs and Walmart.
Datasembly’s proprietary technology platform gives users access to hyperlocal pricing, promotions and assortment insight. Data is able to be sorted and prices analyzed by minimum, maximum, mean (average) and mode (most common). In addition to tracking and understanding produce pricing trends in grocery, the Produce Price Index offers produce suppliers the opportunity to gain competitive insight, improve revenue management and collaborate with retail customers using shareable data.
