This is what The Giant Co.'s new Richboro fresh department is like

The Giant Co. opened a 50,340-square-foot store in Richboro, Pa., with the company’s signature fresh departments, including its farm-fresh produce.

The store has a hot foods bar for today’s busy families, along with other fresh departments and sushi made in-store, according to a news release.

Located at 1025 Second Street Pike, the Richboro store will also offer Giant Direct, which is designed to serve customers when and how they want to shop. Shoppers who use Giant Direct order their groceries online for pick-up or delivery at giantdirect.com.

The Richboro store is celebrating its opening with donations to Churchville Nature Center, The Free Library of Northampton Township, Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company - Station 3 and Warminster Food Bank.

The store will be open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily and will employ about 170 people with full-time and part-time jobs.

The company is headquartered in Carlisle, Pa.
