Del Rey Avocados touts expanded capabilities

MONTEREY, Calif. — Fallbrook, Calif.-based Del Rey Avocados was highlighting its expanded capabilities at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Foodservice Conference Expo on July 29.

The company recently expanded with a new packing line in its California facility and added about 10,000 square foot of storage in its Vineland, N.J.
Earlier this year, Del Rey Avocado completed a major overhaul of the company’s Fallbrook packinghouse facility.

The upgrades include a streamlined receiving process and modern sorting, sizing and safety technology, as well as an ergonomic packout line,  according to the company.
