Taylor Farms and Driscoll’s join Silicon Valley at Global Impact Summit
Proving that growers are nimble and constantly scouting for new, more efficient ways to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to produce aisle, Taylor Farms and Driscoll’s join food, agriculture and tech innovators to pitch at a Silicon Valley funding summit focused on sustainability this November.
After a six-month hunt for the most innovative food and agriculture starts-ups addressing climate change, agri-food investment group SVG Ventures and funding platform Thrive host a Global Impact Summit on November 17 in San Jose, Calif. Finalists attending the summit were selected from an applicant pool of over 500 start-ups from across 70 countries.

The event will feature start-up pitches, as well as panel discussions and keynotes focused on topics such as the COP27 report card, promoting soil health and biodiversity, increasing food security and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The event will also include Thrive’s 2022 Top 50 report and company spotlights.
Focusing on trailblazing advancements and transformational solutions with the potential for global impact, the Global Impact Summit focus was designed to align with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and themes of the upcoming COP27 conference in Egypt this November.

The Summit will take place at the San Jose Convention Center on November 17 and include Thrive corporate partners such as Land O’Lakes, BASF, Bayer, Corteva, ICL, Kubota, Driscoll's , Taylor Farms, UFA, FCC, Alberta Innovates and Intel will be in attendance along with delegations from Canada, Australia, Europe, Israel & Latam.
