ORLANDO, Fla. — Amy Sowder, Produce Market Guide editor and The Packer's retail and education editor, presents the 2022 Produce Retailer of the Year award to Chris Miller, produce director at MOM's Organic Market, Rockville, Md.

The winner received his award at a presentation Oct. 28, at the International Fresh Produce Association's Global Produce and Floral Show. His colleagues and suppliers attended, as well as Joe Watson, IFPA's vice president of retail, foodservice and wholesale, who spent 30-plus years as the director of produce for Rouses Markets and was named Produce Retailer of the Year in 2014.

He also was featured on the cover of the September-October issue of PMG magazine and received a plaque commemorating his selection.

Miller, who has an environmental science degree, started at the 100% organic grocery store almost 13 years ago.

Read more about Miller and what the industry has to say about him in the feature story in PMG's digital edition of the print magazine.
